Johnson Center will be on an Intersession schedule from May 14, 2012 – June 3, 2012 and will be closed on weekends. On June 4, 2012 Johnson Center's summer hours will begin.

Lockers will be available to purchase for the summer semester on May 24, 2012 for $17.00.

Fitness

The Intercession Pass for $20 gives you classes from May 14, 2012 through May 25, 2012. The Intercession schedule and pass are now available.

Getaway Adventures

The Whitewater Rafting adventure at the Pilar Race Course will be held on June 9, 2012. With the amount of snow New Mexico had in the winter the course has some great rivers to go rafting in! This adventure will get your blood pumping and you will surely enjoy the spills and thrills of Pilar Race Course. Don't hesitate to sign up for this great adventure for a great deal of $41.00 that would normally cost $60.00.

Rec Card Memberships

Starting on July 1, 2012 a new Rec Card policy will take effect. A one time $10.00 charge will be applied for all new Rec Card memberships. Renewal memberships will not have to pay this $10.00 charge unless they have not renewed their membership over a 3 semester period.

Spouse/Domestic Partner of Students and Faculty/Staff, CNM Students, CNM Faculty/Staff, Temporary Faculty/Staff, and Contractors can purchase their summer semester membership after May 14, 2012.

RAD Camp 

Recreational Activities Day (RAD) Camp is a summer camp for kids between the ages of 8 - 12 years old. There are five sessions of RAD Camp throughout the summer. Here is the RAD Camp flier with prices.

  • Session 1: May 29 – June 1
  • Session 2: June 4 – June 15
  • Session 3: June 18 – June 29
  • Session 4: July 2 – July 13 (No Camp on July 4)
  • Session 5: July 16 – July 27

RAD Camp registration will be in the front office of Johnson Center on UNM campus across from Popjoy Hall. Best way to get to Johnson Center is off of Central and Stanford; go North on Stanford, take your first right, take the first left toward the parking structure, park in the parking structure and pay $1.75 parking fee, and Johnson Center is the first building North of the parking structure (to the right of the enter and exit stairs of the parking structure). Please call the front office at 277-0178 for any further information on directions to Johnson Center.
